Personal
David Meyer is a freelance opera and concert singer.
He, his wife Renée, and
cat Emmy Lou currently live in Aachen, Germany. Renée is an English teacher at
the Inlingua Language Academy, and Emmy Lou refuses to seek employment outside the
home, much to her parents' chagrin.
David's hobbies include metal smithing, leather working, reproducing medieval armor and material culture, fishing, genealogy, forensic anthropology, and hiking and sledding in the Alps. He and his wife are long-distance members of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church (PC-USA) in Iowa City, Iowa, and consider themselves to be Midwestern expatriates.
